Professional Wedding Consultant and owner of The Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants, Mark Kingsdorf personally assists couples with all wedding plans down to the tiniest details.

Mark is a 1981 Graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, this combined with nearly 30 years of orchestrating events for Hyatt Hotels, The Smithsonian Institution and off premise catering as former owner and chef of American Eats, Inc.; all experiences which transitioned easily to a career as one of Philadelphia's top wedding planners.

In expanding his base of knowledge to launch The Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants, Mark apprenticed with a nationally recognized bridal salon, special events floral decorating firm, wedding photographer and became an ordained wedding officiant.

Mark is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), The National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), and The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.

Mark has been featured in USAToday, The Wall Street Journal, The Philadelphia Inquirer and many regional and wedding publications; as well as having appeared on NBC 10, Fox Good Day and CN8's - Newsmakers, Money Matters Today and Morning Show and is a featured consultant on the 2006 season of the Style Network's "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?"

His writing has been published locally and nationally in consulting trade magazines an websites, he has been a featured speaker for The Bridal Event, Partyspace, Greater Philadelphia Videographers Association, Wedding and Event Videographers Association, National Association of Catering Executives, Association of Bridal Consultants, 21st Century Nuptials, "Secrets of The City's Top Wedding Planners” on topics of etiquette, planning, catering, small business marketing, building vendor relationships, and the psychology of brides and weddings.

Mark says the two things he is most proud of are: Being selected to work with the Emily Post Institute on the 5th Edition of Wedding Etiquette - (Collins, January 06); and founding " Let Them Eat Cake" - Philadelphia's largest wedding cake competition. Not just because of the size of the event, but because it benefits City of Hope - Breast Cancer Research, Treatment and Education and that City of Hope has honored him by naming the event in honor of his late mother, Lois.
